ECBC Technologies LLC (doing business as Steameup) is an online service marketplace platform that connect Clients to Service Providers. This data privacy policy sets forth how personal information is collected in our Platform and how the Steameup platform utilizes the collected information. By using our platform www.Steameup.com, applications, and Mobile Apps (the “Platform”) you agree to the following terms and conditions of our Privacy Policy. Steameup is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and maintaining confidentiality and security of any personal information. The Privacy Policy explains how the Steameup platform protects personal information collected through the Platform and how Steameup uses that information for offering its services through the Platform. In this context, personal information stands for any piece of information that can be used to identify and locate a user. The contents of this Privacy Policy are subject to constant change, as Steameup re-evaluates its terms and conditions regularly in order to protect the personal information of its users in the best manner. 

 Not all information requested, collected, and processed by us is “Personal Information” as it does not identify you as a specific natural person. This will include majority of User content that you provide us with the intention of sharing with other users. Such “Non-Personal Information” is not covered by this privacy policy. However, as non-personal information may be used in aggregate or be linked with existing personal information, when in this form it will be treated as personal information.  Your payment provider may transmit information about the payment that we may collect or process. 

In some situations, personal information of users may be collected from public sources. 

We may collect or process the following information: 

   – The personal information we collect may include name, email address, physical address, phone number, billing information, and any  other information provided by the user. 

   – We may also collect information about users’ interactions with the Platform, such as browsing history and search queries.

Information we collect as you use our service

We maintain records of the interactions we have with our users, including the products, services, and customer support we have provided. This includes the interactions our users have with our platform such as when a user has viewed a page or clicked a button. 

In order to deliver certain products or services we may passively collect your GPS coordinates, where available from your device. Most modern devices such as smartphones will display a permission request when our platform requests this data.

  – for delivering alerts to our users concerning the service we offer in certain cases’

Any interactions and transactions on the Steameup platform, concerning service providers activities and job offerings, are subject to our Terms and Conditions and by using our services on the Steameup platform you agree to those as well. Any personal information collected from the Steameup platform is subject to our Privacy Policy and will also be used in as discrete and secure a manner as possible. We may also disclose your personal information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process and when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request. Should the Steameup platform be involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of any proportion, you will be notified via e-mail about the change of ownership

Information Changes and Deletion 

If personal information we have of you changes or if you no longer require our services, you can change or delete by contacting the Steameup support team via the e-mail- address [email protected]. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal and/or regulatory obligations and enforce our agreements

Security is of high importance to Steameup. When you enter sensitive information on the Platform or any services related to Steameup, it will be encrypted before transmission and stored safely protected from any manipulation. When handling personal information, we generally follow today’s standards concerning transmission of data and data storing. Please note that no currently known method of transmission or data storage is 100 % secure. Handling of personal information always includes a small risk, and in case of data loss due to non-negligently handling by the Steameup platform, Steameup is not liable for any damages done.
